Yoga for Children

YogaBugsYogaBugs classes are designed for children aged 2 1/2 to 7 years old.  They are about having fun whilst exercising.

During a class, the children are lead through creative stories and exciting adventures that stimulate their imagination and help to maintain their natural flexibility.  The class starts with a series of warm up exercises, followed by an exciting story in which they are taught yoga postures which represent characters or animals in the story.  The session ends with relaxation, using visualization and breathing techniques.

Classes vary from 30 to 45 minutes in length.
 

Yoga'd UpYoga’d Up classes are yoga classes specifically designed to stimulate and engage children aged 8-12 years old.

During a class, children are taken through a series of warm up exercises, followed by a fun themed class in which they are taught yoga postures, partner poses, as well as enjoying yoga games and fun activities. The sessions end with relaxation, using visualization and breathing techniques. Classes vary from 30 to 60 minutes in length.

All classes are non competitive, and can take place during the school day or as a before or after school activity.
